Kim Long Photography: Experience: Maternity

My maternity photography not only embodies my artistic ideals, but also reflects my own experiences as a mother. I strive toward images that are both priceless keepsakes of a fleeting and profound life experience, and works of art that celebrate the sanctity, sensuality, and unique beauty of the expectant mother.

While no two women or pregnancies are alike, the ideal timing for maternity sessions is typically somewhere in the sixth to seventh gestational month, before the typically uncomfortable late stages of the third trimester, but far enough along that silhouette of pregnancy is visibly evident. Sessions typically last one-two hours and I welcome and even encourage a wardrobe change or two.

Investment

On-Location Session: $250

• session including up to four individual subjects ($25 surcharge for each additional subject) at the client's choice of location within one hundred round-trip miles of Eastern Cincinnati (see travel policy for details on long distance sessions)
• processing of all proof images and private online proofing within three weeks of the session
• $100 credit for print/ album/ product purchasing

Studio Session: $300
Recommended only for conceptual/ artistic sessions
No children under five years old

• session including up to four individual subjects ($25 surcharge for each additional subject) in and around loft studio space in downtown Cincinnati
• processing of all proof images and private online proofing within three weeks of the session
• $100 credit for print/ album/ product purchasing

A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required upon contracting the session and this retainer is credited toward the session fee, the balance of which is due ten days prior to the session. Payments may be made online via PayPal or by check or money order. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Print orders placed within the first two weeks of the 60-day online proofing period are eligible for a 10% early bird discount. Print and album pricing and information may be obtained by submitting an inquiry.
