Kim Long Photography: Information: Lifestyle Photojournalism

Imagine having a special day in your life or an occasion you might ordinarily document in snapshots instead professionally captured and presented in an evocative "picture story" as if it were a special feature for a lifestyle magazine.

As an experienced WPJA wedding photojournalist, I am excited to apply this artistic documentary approach to other momentous life experiences and special events, such as (but not limited to):

• birth/ adoption
• family outings, trip to the zoo, carnival, park, etc.
• birthday/ quinceañera/ anniversary/ retirement/ bon voyage parties*
• reunions
• religious ceremonies/ celebrations*
• milestones like first haircuts, dental visits, etc.
• graduation
• veteran homecoming
  

Clients may choose from two kinds of Lifestyle PJ coverage plans: Bespoke or Prêt -à-Porter

Bespoke
A generous array of images, each one artistically post-processed (including basic retourching), is presented in an online proof gallery, from which the client may order individual images to customize one of the following plans:

Deluxe $1300

• up to eight hours coverage on a single day at unlimited locations within a radius of fifty miles of 45230 (see travel policy for details on destination coverage)
• $300 à la carte credit
• $200 Scraps, Etc. credit (may exchange for additional $200 à la carte credit)
• Complete disk of high-resolution digital files wth personal printing rights
  

Petite: $800

• up to five hours of documentary coverage on a single day at a single location within a radius of fifty miles of 45230
• $150 à la carte credit
• $100 Scraps, Etc. credit (may exchange for additional $100 à la carte credit)
• Choice of 6 high-resolution digital files wth personal printing rights

Demi: $450

• up to three hours of documentary coverage on a single day at a single location within a radius of fifty miles of 45230
• $150 à la carte credit

Prêt -à-Porter
Images are delivered finished in a beautiful storybook album. There are no proofs, Individual prints or files available with these plans, though duplicate storybook albums are made available for purchase.

A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required upon contracting and this retainer is credited toward the final balance, which is due ten days prior to the event. Payments may be made online via PayPal or by check or money order. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Coverage is not available Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Other holidays may be negotiable. Clients are responsible for covering fare for locations that charge admission. Certain locations and events may be contigent upon authorization for professional photography and/or subject to restrictions, including- but not limited to- existing contracts with other professional photographers. For private events, no other professional still photographer shall be under contract for coverage of that same event.

All prices subject to 6.5% sales tax.
