An international award-winning member of the distinguished Wedding
Photojournalist Association and its Artistc Guild, I specialize in documentary coverage.
My style is a mélange of classic and contemporary reportage,
fashion and fine art, marked by a percipience for the minutiae,
moments and relationships that are such integral elements of the
occasion.
I
regard each wedding as a special chapter in a personal love story,
and my endeavor is always to create visual memoirs that
not only reflect the spirit of the day, but also pay tribute to

Lifestyle
Photography is a different kind of portrait experience. I work
primarily by natural light and strongly encourage on-location
sessions, preferably in clients' homes or other significant and
interesting sites, as this lends itself to particularly personal,
intimate and emotionally accessible images.
For
more minimalistic conceptual work, I have limited access to a
natural light studio space in downtown Cincinnati which provides
unique interior and exterior architecture and proximity to a variety
of interesting urban settings around town. My use of this space
is on an as-needed basis, and the scheduling of a studio shoot
is always contingent upon space availability. Studio sessions
are not offered for babies or children under 5, nor are they recommended
for family or child photography unless the client desires something
decidedly conceptual.
I
do not necessarily follow conventions of mainstream studio portrait
photography with regard to posing, props and backdrops. Before
inquiring, I strongly encourage you to familiarize
yourself with my work. If you're looking for a more traditional
style of studio portraiture, there are many chains and other area
photographers who specialize in that.
