Children

As a mother, I truly appreciate that the precious years of childhood pass all too swiftly, and that quality photographic documentation of them is truly priceless. As an artist, I place great emphasis on both the aesthetic and emotional integrity of the these photos. In contrast with traditional studio photography, my approach is relaxed and kinetic, and I strive to foster an atmosphere in which children are free to express themselves. My style blends a documentary approach with flavors of children's fashion photography and my own unique vision.

I don't insist on eye contact for every shot, nor am I interested in coercing fake "camera faces" from my subjects. I believe that the best smiles are those that happen naturally, and I like to capture the nuances of my subjects' full range of natural expressions.

Babies

Newborn sessions are best done within the first ten days of baby's life, and baby portraits can be done any time. It should be noted that my baby photography emphasizes natural environmental portraits. If you are interested in the highly stylized, prop-and-accessory-intensive genre of baby photography, I recommend seeking a someone whose style fits that niche.

Basic Session $250

• 1-3 hour envionmental portrait session including up to five individual subjects ($25 surcharge for each additional subject) at the client's choice of up to two locations within one hundred round-trip miles of Eastern Cincinnati (see travel policy for details on long distance sessions)
• processing of all proof images and private online proofing within two weeks of the session
• $100 à la carte credit

Special Collections

Collections offer great value as well as special features not available à la carte. All collections include:

• Your favorite twelve 5x7 images permanently mounted in museum board mats (choice of natural or black) and encased in an exquisite artisan-handcrafted 10x10 box enveloped in your choice of archival bookbinding silk and ribbon detailing, and featuring a cameo image on the front
• One tabletop easel for rotating your display of each gorgeous matted print

• eight keepsake prints (your choice of size)

After a minimum purchase of $500, high resolution 5x7 digital files are available for purchase for $100 per file. Digital files of the complete session are complimentary with purchases of $2000 or more.

A nonrefundable deposit of $75 is required upon contracting your session plan and this retainer is credited toward the total fee, the balance of which is due ten days prior to the session. Payments may be made online via PayPal or by check or money order. Returned checks are subject to a $25 fee.

Pricing is subject to 6.5% sales tax.
